Today we’re doing our pre-Thanksgiving inspections. Daryl is attaching an extra bow on the garland and making sure there are no burned out bulbs when our client turns on the lights Thanksgiving day.
Today in Farmers Branch we’re continuing our cleanup. Juan is removing all of the debris leftover from tearing out the old plants. In a couple of hours we’ll start installing compost and tilling it in.
Decomposed granite can be great base for flagstone. It packs down well and is perfect if you’re going for a very informal, natural look. An added benefit is if you’re near a tree the granite is more flexible, allowing the tree roots to grow without ruining the patio.
Our latest landscape job. We’re going from bare dirt and hedges to shade loving ground cover and plants. You can feel like you’re in shady glen now when you pass through.
We’re adding three or four fine shredded bark mulch to our Plano landscape. Mulch provides insulation during both summer and winter, holds in moisture and cuts down on weeds.
