Landscape Spotlight: April’s Plano Patio Project

April contacted Village Green for help creating an upgraded low-maintenance landscape for her Plano patio home. April’s backyard is tiny by anyone’s standard. And many people believe that means it would be too small to justify a landscape. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Patio homes benefit from an incredible landscape because every square inch is typically seen and on display.

As you can see from the photos, we delivered on an incredible looking landscape that maximizes the space we had available while delivering on her request for low maintenance by our plant selections, including dwarf plants like giant liriope, carex grass, and heuchera. These plants will stay under one foot but add great color. We combined those dwarf plants with semi-dwarf plants, obsession nandinas, and kaleidoscope abelia. They get two or three feet tall. Next, we added river rock around the base of her magnolia tree to add an important dash of texture and cover up the tree’s exposed roots.

April was thrilled with her new landscape’s final results and so happy with Hannah and her landscape team that she took the time to sing our praises on Google. As a locally owned and operated family business, nothing helps us more than when a customer is kind enough to share their great experience working with Village Green.

Thank you, April, for your business and for allowing us to share your landscape.
